3rd Annual Summer Throwdown

The CrossFit Forte 3rd Annual Summer Throwdown – Thanks again to Michael Chase for snapping pics all day (click this link for some CFF sample pics he took. These are gonna be sweet), Humphreys Street Coffee Co, Mid 10 Nutrition, and Paleo Works. Thank you to everyone who competed with respect and class and for pushing yourselves out of your comfort zones. And finally, thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday to help out with judging and logistics. You guys kick ass. 

Workout of the Day

A.
Three sets, each for time:
30 Calories on Assault Bike (ladies: Airdyne)

Rest 2-3 minutes between sets

These are meant to be sprints. Treat them as such. 

Rx+ 40 calories (if you cannot complete 40 calories in 90 seconds or less each round, stick with 30)

I know we usually do front squats today, but because of competition we held on Saturday, I’m expecting a good percentage of people who competed to rest today. We will resume our cycle tomorrow (Tuesday).

B. 
AMRAP in 12 minutes of:
15 Wall-Balls (20 / 14)
30 Double-unders

Rx+ 30 / 20, unbroken DU
