The President is visiting Nashville tomorrow, so be sure to check the route you usually take is open:

The Secret Service has not disclosed the exact route for the motorcade for security reasons; nevertheless, Metro Police said roadways between Nashville International Airport and The Hermitage will be temporarily closed at some point between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday and reopened once the motorcade clears.

In-bound roadways between The Hermitage and the Municipal Auditorium downtown will be closed at some point between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and also reopened once the motorcade clears. Metro Police do not expect to close outbound — that is: eastbound — thoroughfares during the president’s transit from The Hermitage to downtown.

Downtown, 5th Avenue from Charlotte Avenue to James Robertson Parkway will close at noon, as will Gay Street between James Robertson Parkway and 5th Avenue. James Robertson Parkway from 3rd to 5th will close at approximately 3 p.m., unless crowd numbers require earlier closure.

Once the motorcade begins its transit from The Hermitage to Municipal, James Robertson will close between Interstate Drive east of the river and Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. That closure remains in effect until the end of the rally.
