2017 CrossFit Forte Summer Throwdown Event Announcement

Clean & Jerk Ladder

With one person working at a time, partners will complete 1 Clean and 1 Jerk with progressively heavier barbells. Athletes will be ranked by the weight of their heaviest successful clean and jerk. Teammates will have 90 seconds total to successfully make the lift and to move on to the next loaded bar. If one teammate makes the lift and the other does not, the teammate with the successful lift will advance while the other will be eliminated. Multiple attempts may be taken, as long as the lift is completed entirely within the 90 second cap. 

Score will be total load lifted as a team.

Rx Men: 155 – 185 – 205 -225 – 245 – 265 – 275 – 285 – 295 – 305 – 315
Rx Women: 105 – 115 – 125 – 135 – 145 – 155 – 165 – 175 – 185 – 195 – 205

Scaled Men: 105 – 125 – 135 – 145 – 155 – 165 – 175 – 185 – 195 – 205 – 215
Scaled Women: 55 – 65 – 75 – 85 – 95 – 105 -115 – 125 – 135 – 145 – 155

*Athletes may choose to do a power clean
**After the clean is completed, the athlete must Jerk (no push press) the bar, but the style (split, squat, or power/jerk) is up to them
***THERE WILL BE PARTIAL CREDIT for the those who can only complete the clean, but the athlete may not move onto the next loaded bar unless the jerk is successfully completed.

Three rounds for time of:
30 Alternating DB Power Snatches (50 / 35)
10 Burpee Box Jump Overs – Facing (24 / 20)
